The RiverDogs in 2005

I think it was from the year 2005 or 2006.

We got Sydney on Valentines Day in 1998, about three months after moving into the house. She was a baby born around the first of the year. We got Halle probably about a year later when we heard that having two dogs actually made taking care of one dog a lot easier. I didn't believe it at the time but it was true. They became best of friends.

We called them riverdogs because that's where they liked to go on hot days. And, in Texas there are some hot days.

There was ice on the ground and Austin was closed for the day.

Ginika (in front) and Macey Jo, our current riverdogs

Ginika and Macey are Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and they can run like the wind. This picture is from a few years ago but they aren't moving quite that quickly anymore.
